After humble beginnings in Pennsylvania (well, maybe not so humble, but it sounds good, doesn’t it?), Oliver became addicted to clay. Not any weird sort of addiction, just forming it into cool shapes on the wheel and helping other people share the joy. He said he'd go anywhere to work in the pottery industry. Cincinnati was the place! Who knew?
Two years later, Oliver confessed his obsession with office furniture, chairs in particular. Now when he's not busy wowing customers, he attempts to sit “wrong” in the Generation by Knoll® chair. He’s getting used to failure with that. But it’s sort of a new thing. Because like many kids, Oliver dreamed of becoming rich, successful, and happy. Now he says he's rich in family and friends, with a fun job, sweet toys (nothing better than a frog green 1973 VW convertible!) and a pottery studio nestled in his basement. True happiness. And if he can achieve his own goals so early in life, just think how quickly he’ll satisfy your office furniture goals!
